About David Simons

👋 Hi

👨‍⚕️ I am a practicing medical doctor interested in infectious diseases.
👨‍🔬 I am a PhD Student studying emerging zoonotic infectious diseases in West Africa 🌍, mainly Sierra Leone.

My research is focussed on 🐀 borne viruses, particularly #Lassa fever.

I am funded by the LIDo DTP and my field work is supported by PANDORA-ID-NET. I am based at the Royal Veterinary College, LSHTM and UCL.
