Science/ Math Teacher and Climate Activist: In 2014, I marched with the Great March for Climate Action; 3000+ miles, 8 months, L.A. to D.C., to highlight the urgency of the climate crisis and the need for action. This march was inspired by the Great Peace March for Global Nuclear Disarmament of 1986. I was on that one too. The whole way. 3000+ plus miles, L.A. to D.C. Same message: "We want to live."
